UMT Software is currently seeking an enthusiastic Scrum Master to help our teams in the development of our highly complex Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) application, to guide and empower them towards achieving their maximum potential and become more efficient, to facilitate the communication inside each Scrum Team, as well as across Teams. The Role will be to:

  • Guide the teams on self-organizing to fully realize the potential of Agile/Scrum frameworks, according to our specific needs
  • Resolve impediments or help the team to resolve them
  • Minimize outside distractions
  • Build a trusting and safe environment with an emphasis on problem solving
  • Facilitate in getting the work done
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information
  • Assess the Scrum Maturity of the teams and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the teams and organization
  • Facilitate the collaboration between the Product Owner and the Scrum Teams
  • Orchestrate all the Scrum specific meetings: The Daily Meetings, the Planning Meetings, the Grooming Sessions and Retrospectives

We require:

  • Proven experience in a Scrum Master/leadership/coordination role for at least 2 years for a software engineering team of both developers and testers
  • Experience in conducting daily SCRUM (multiple teams), Planning Meetings, Grooming Sessions, Retrospectives
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills, empathy and an ability to reach out to people and establish a relationship based on trust, respect and efficient communication
  • Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Ability and willingness to understand the technical implementation approach and the functionalities implemented by the Scrum Teams
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Continuous interest and focus on self-improvement and process improvement

We appreciate

  • Previous experience in using Microsoft technologies such as: .NET framework, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office365
  • Scrum Master Certification
