Being Santa: UMT employees are spreading Christmas joy

CSR

Every year, our employees became Santa’s helpers with the only purpose to bring joy to kids in need.
This year, the UMT Software’s employees took Santa Claus place for approximately 100 children.

Their generosity brought joy to 62 children from 5 communities from Cluj county through Letters for Santa – a project made possible by World Vision Romania.

In their letter to Santa, the young ones asked for toys and candy, but also cloths and shoes. Our employees took their job seriously and fulfilled all the wishes from the children’s letters. This year, their Christmas wishes came true.

Another 46 children received presents through the local Shoe Box project. Shoe Box is already a tradition in UMT Software, our people getting involved in this project year after year with the same dedication and open heart.

Letters for Santa is a project started a few years ago at the initiative of World Vision Cluj Napoca. Through this program and with the help of local companies and their employees, thousands of children from poor rural families receive every year their dream wishes. This year, the project bought Santa in the homes of 500 children from Cluj county and more than 7000 in all Romania.
